A 3-week online mindfulness course for anxiety, offering tools to calm the nervous system
Service Description
7:30–8:15pm, Tuesdays 13th, 20th & 27th October 2026 A gentle, practical approach to calming anxiety, regulating the nervous system and learning a different way of meeting anxious thoughts and feelings. Anxiety can feel like constant movement... racing thoughts, a tight chest, a sense of urgency that doesn’t quite settle. This three-week online mindfulness course offers simple, guided practices to help calm the nervous system, steady the breath and relate differently to anxious thoughts. What This Course Offers: Over three weeks, we will explore: Arriving in the body and noticing where anxiety is held Steadying the breath to support nervous system regulation Observing anxious thoughts rather than being pulled into them Creating space between feeling and reacting Finding ways to bring greater calm and steadiness into daily life Each session is live, gently guided and rooted in practical mindfulness for anxiety and stress. Course Structure Week 1 - Arriving & Settling Beginning with the body, noticing tension and gently settling the breath. Practising: grounding, breath awareness and calming techniques. Week 2 - Noticing & Allowing Becoming aware of thinking patterns, softening overthinking and allowing thoughts to come and go. Practising: observing thoughts, anchoring attention and gently returning. Week 3 - Pausing & Responding Recognising moments of reactivity, pausing before responding and bringing greater steadiness into everyday situations. Practising: pausing, responding with awareness and integrating mindfulness into daily life. What You’ll Receive 3 live online mindfulness sessions (45 minutes each) Guided practices for calming anxiety (8–10 minutes) Simple optional reflections to support awareness If this feels supportive for where you are right now, you’re very welcome to join us.
